Eleven games remain on the schedule for Liverpool in the Premier League this season. Captain Virgil van Dijk's team cannot afford to lose a point in the thrilling title battle with Manchester City. Today the Reds play a difficult away game against Brighton.

Fifteen games in a row Liverpool was unbeaten, but that came to an end last Tuesday when it lost 0-1 to Inter at home. Fortunately, this defeat was not fatal, as they won 0-2 in Italy and thus reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League. However, the defeat may be seen as a wake-up call. In the Premier League, Liverpool is six points behind Manchester City, has played one less game and the two top teams still play each other in April. Liverpool thus has the title chances entirely in its own hands.

Saturday afternoon at 13.30 awaits a tricky away game against Joël Veltman's Brighton. The home team has been in the top half of the middle order for a long time this season, but has been badly out of form in recent weeks, as evidenced by four defeats in a row. Liverpool should not underestimate Brighton. It gets few goals against, does not score easily and managed to keep Chelsea to a draw, for example. The pressure is on for Liverpool and they generally perform best under pressure. We therefore see the Reds winning, albeit painstakingly. At Bet365 there is a quote of 1.55. It is up to Mohamed Salah to once again take his team in tow. We see the Egyptian scoring a goal today. Against this there is a odd of 1.80.
